Jason Lorenzon has been appointed to CWRU faculty as Conductor of University Singers. He continues to conduct Hudson Community Chorus and reports that folks from his church choir spent a week with Gerre Hancock in Wilkes-Barre PA. FM

Juanita SchubertÍs two volumes of improvisations were featured at the regional conference of the Associated Lutheran Church Musicians. FM

Next meeting of the Executive Committee will be on Monday, November 6, 2000, at 7:30 PM. at Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights, 2860 Coventry Road. All members are welcome.

For last monthÍs listing of the yearÍs programs, one correction and one addition: The dinner and discussion with Maggie Kemper will be on Monday, January 8, not Sunday. Add: Sunday, March 18, 2001, 7:30 PM. ñBach by Candlelightî at Forest Hill Presbyterian, 3031 Monticello, Cleveland Heights, with Anne Wilson, organ and piano, and soprano Sandy Simon. This promises to be a wonderful evening of the magnificent music of J.S. Bach presented by outstanding artists. A reception will follow. CN
