Friday, November 10, 2000, at 8:00 PM. Trinity Organ Recital Series presents Lee Garrett, organ, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect Street Akron. A meet-the-artist reception follows. Free-will offering.

Sunday, November 12, 2000, at 3:00 PM. Cathedral Singers of Chicago, Richard Proulx, director. Works by Aguiar, Byrd, Dunhill,Grieg, Handl, Parker, Schubert, Tavener and Proulx. Cathedral of St. John, E. 9th @ Superior, downtown. Free parking at SE corner of Rockwell & E. 9th. Free-will offering.

Sunday, November 12, 2000, at 4:00 PM. Bach and Handel Society presents the Credo section of the Mass in B minor. Guest artist Burghardt Zitzman will perform selections from the Art of the Fugue and other late works by J.S. Bach. Messiah Lutheran Church, West 215th at Lorain in Fairview Park.

Sunday, November 19, 2000, at 4:00 PM. Bach and Handel Society repeats the choral portion of the November 12 program at Grace Lutheran Church, 13001 Cedar Road Cleveland Heights. David Sparkes will perform the Prelude and Fugue in D, ñIn the Italian Style,î (BWV 532) David Sparkes has a BachelorÍs in organ performance as well as study with Leo Sowerby, Preston Rockholt and Paul Callaway as well as other significant experiences.

Sunday, November 26, 2000, at 4:00 PM. A Festival of Carols Betty Abendroth Funk will give all an opportunity to sing favorite Christmas carols and hear compositions based on them. Shore Haven Lutheran Church, 280 E. 222 St. in Euclid. (About 1 _ miles north from the E. 222St. exit of I-90) A reception will follow.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday, November 30, December 1 & 2, 2000 at 7:30 PM. Sixth Annual Medieval BoarÍs Head Feast. The early music ensemble Heironymous leads the Madrigal Singers through an evening of fun and feasting. Knights, Heralds, King Harry, and a host of others transport you back to the early 16th century. Tickets required. $7.50 for adults, children under 12 are free. Sunday, December 10, 2000, 3:00 PM. Holiday Concert. Washington Avenue Christian Church, 301 Washington Avenue, just north of the downtown Elyria square. A free, ecumenical concert open to the community with music of the season from choir, local area organists, bells, brass, menÍs quartet, harp and piano. Sing along on your favorite holiday songs.
