Dr. Steven Egler, Region V Councillor

Greetings to all deans„both continuing and newly-elected-and all other chapter officers and members! I was very happy and honored to be elected to the position of Regional Councillor in June, especially Shepfer did as my predecessor in this position. Both Jim and Bob are valued colleagues.

Please understand that as Regional Councillor, I represent the district convenors, chapters, deans, resource people and membership of Region V on the National Council. The Keyword is ñrepresent.î I must know what your needs and concerns are in order for us to be a successful team and to keep each other informed. It is essential that the National Council operate with the needs and concerns of the general membership as its primary goal.

In the weeks and months ahead, please feel free to communicate directly with me about any issues that you feel are relevant to the future of our profession and to the Guild.

I look forward to serving Region V and to meeting many of you at various chapter events during the next couple of years. Soli Deo Gloria!
